This is about the funniest thing that I have seen in a while. No plot, no script, no time wasted with boorish dialogue, just plain fun. What I find so appealing is that these guys do things that the rest of us find so outlandish that they are funny. And no one in their right mind would attempt any of it. I felt that the movie was too short and did not feature Wee-Man and Party-Boy enough but it still kicked butt. Most people won't enjoy the film because it gets pretty disgusting and juvenilia but I really don't care, it still makes me laugh and that is all this film is supposed to do.
I saw jackass while in Des Moines on business. Nothin' legal to do in the hotel, so I went to the Copper Creek cineplex hoping to find something to watch. Jackass was about it. I'm watching it along with 2 other bored people. I laughed damn hard recalling my stupid college days. So there I am watching these guys in the movie having fun while I'm in my later 30's sitting virtually alone in a crappy theater box on a dark November night on a business trip. Whoa, the reality!
Essentially a slapstick movie with no plot or –my boyfriend called it after recovering from 1½ hours of side-splitting laughter – "the ultimate big-screen TV experience."
The Unrated Version of this movie runs approx. 3 and a half minutes longer than the normal Theatrical version and features several additional gross scenes interesting for the die-hard Jackass fans.
